Cigar Monster

longest cigar
The 268ft 4in cigar monster was hand-made by Castelar Cairo, known as Cueto, who learnt the tricks of the trade at just five-years-old. Cueto first entered the record books in 2001 with a cigar measuring 36ft, and has continued to beat this effort three more times. Castelar, 67, had been working on the super smoke since April 25, toiling away about eight hours a day. The cigar was rolled inside the Morro Cabana fortress along a wooden table, which extends across several of the vast rooms that connect within the fortress. It is on display at El Morro, an old Spanish fort overlooking Havana Bay, where Cuba is holding its annual International Tourism Fair. According to Mr. Castelar, [the cigar] "has to be in Cuba because Cuba is where the best tobacco in the world is. " (Photo Link)
