Emilio's AF1

AF1
The first impression I got of the Emilio AF1 Cigar was sweet and strong because it is a solid Toro cigar with a beautiful Oscuro/Maduro Wrapper. The reason I labeled it oscuro is due to the deep rich and dark color it has, and its a maduro because of the oil and sweetness of the fermented wrapper. I opted to use a bullet punch cut due to the ring gauge of this cigar which I measured at 48, and the classic Cuban Triple Cap used at the top head of the cigar. The cigar burns even with an excellent draw and a medium gray ash that held up to about an inch. Before lighting this cigar the wrapper is sort of aromatic like  "butter toffee ", and the wrapper really makes a strong positive appearance for this cigar. The smoke of this cigar is not stagnant or lingering either and doesn't leave a stale tobacco odor. In general, a very smooth and creamy cigar with hints of coffee and chocolate. This boutique cigar can compete with any premium brand. The AF1 label stands for A.J. Fernandez. For further details about this cigar, please visit Emilio cigar's website.
