La Sirena Cigar Review

La Sirena Cigar Review
The La Sirena was released in Chicago on November 19th, 2010 is blended and manufactured by Don Jose “Pepin” Garcia in Nicaragua. La Sirena stands for “mermaid” and this cigar consist of Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 & Nicaraguan Corojo ’96 as filler, plus a dual Nicaraguan Habano & Nicaraguan Corojo binder, rolled in a lush toothy Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.  The cigar I smoked was a 7x50 and it is a long enjoyable smoke with flavors of coffee, pepper, oak and a little honey.  Draw and burn were perfect with a medium grey ash. This cigar is full-bodied. According to the Miami cigar company website, La Sirena comes in six sizes:

The Prince (5 x 50)
Divine (5.5 x 52)
Trident (7 x 50)
Sea Sprite (5.5 x 42)
King Poseidon (6 x 60)
'A' (9 1/4 x 48)
